“Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest” - W.E.B Du Bois
She brings over 20 years of experience serving Oakland youth, supporting college access and providing case management to strengthen the social-emotional well-being of underserved youth across the Oakland Unified School District and Bay Area. Her work includes in-home child development and helping youth build confidence, leadership skills, and awareness around mental health.
Her work is deeply shaped by lived experience. As a neurodivergent individual and single mother raising her son, Chè, who is on the autism spectrum, she understands firsthand the challenges caregivers face—including barriers to employment, lack of support, and emotional strain. These experiences fuel her commitment to ensuring caregivers do not have to choose between stability and caring for their children—they deserve to thrive.
She is the driving force behind the Che Hab Stabilization Program, which provides structured support for caregivers raising children with autism and other special needs. Through this work, she helps families stabilize their households, access resources, and receive the emotional and practical support needed to move forward.
She also leads efforts to strengthen family communication—particularly mother–daughter relationships—through intentional, healing-centered programming rooted in connection, honesty, and care.
It is my mission to normalize conversations around mental health and offer practical, compassionate strategies to strengthen mother–daughter relationships, grounded in grace, courageous honesty, and unconditional love. This commitment also informs our stabilization support for single mothers raising children with special needs, ensuring families are supported both emotionally and practically.

In her clinical practice, she utilizes motivational interviewing and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, childhood trauma, and other emotional and behavioral challenges.
She has dedicated her entire professional career to serving underserved communities. Her work spans a wide range of experiences, including supporting youth, families of homicide victims, pregnant and parenting teenagers, formerly incarcerated women, survivors of human trafficking, and couples. She is also an experienced domestic violence counselor, committed to advocating for individuals who have endured abuse.
In addition to her professional work, she brings a deeply personal understanding of caregiving and family support. She has provided critical mental health support within her own family while navigating the realities of assisting her daughter in raising her grandson, Chè, who is on the autism spectrum. This lived experience continues to shape her compassionate, grounded, and culturally responsive approach to supporting caregivers and families.
At the heart of her work is a simple but powerful goal: to help individuals rediscover their strength, heal from their experiences, and move forward with clarity, purpose, and hope.
